Bentley redefines the fastest ultra-luxury driving experience in the world with a new pinnacle flagship. The new Mulsanne Speed is tailored for the driver, with 537 PS (530 bhp / 395 kW), 1,100 Nm (811 lb.ft) and selectable sports suspension and steering on demand.

The reengineered powertrain, featuring Bentley’s mighty 6¾-litre twin-turbo V8, propels the Mulsanne Speed to 60 mph in 4.8 seconds (0‑100 km/h in 4.9 seconds) and on to a top speed of 190 mph (305 km/h). In modern Bentley tradition, the extra performance is matched by markedly improved efficiency; a 13% gain means a range extended by 50 miles (80 km).

The engines set top marks in the segment of large SUVs with all-wheel drive. The 3.0 TDI with 200 kW (272 hp) and the 3.0 TFSI with 245 kW (333 hp) accelerate the new Audi Q7 from 0 to 100 km/h (62.1 mph) in 6.1 seconds (TFSI) and 6.3 seconds (TDI), respectively. The diesel V6 consumes on average just 5.7 liters of fuel per 100 kilometers (41.3 US mpg), corresponding to 149 grams of CO2 per kilometer (239.8 g/mi).

BMW X6 M (2016)

The new M TwinPower Turbo engine for the BMW X5 M and BMW X6 M is the most powerful unit ever developed by BMW for an all-wheel-drive vehicle. Boasting innovative M TwinPower Turbo technology with a pair of TwinScroll turbochargers, cross-bank exhaust manifolds, VALVETRONIC and High Precision Direct Petrol Injection, the 4.4-litre V8 produces maximum output of 423 kW/575 hp between 6,000 and 6,500 rpm. That represents a four per cent increase over the predecessor models. The step up is even clearer when it comes to the power development of the new engine. Peak torque has been boosted by 70 Nm (52 lb-ft), which equates to a rise of 10 per cent. Its 750 Nm (553 lb-ft) can be enjoyed across a broad rev range between 2,200 and 5,000 rpm.

At the same time, fuel consumption of the new BMW X5 M and BMW X6 M in the EU cycle has been cut by 20 per cent - from 13.9 l/100 km (20.3 mpg imp) to 11.1 l/100 km (25.5 mpg imp). CO2 emissions are likewise down by more than 20 per cent, to 258 g/km. The two models accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 4.2 seconds through the standard eightspeed M Steptronic transmission with Drivelogic. Top speed is limited to 250 km/h (155 mph).

Cadillac CTS-V (2016)

Jeep Renegade (2015)

The new Jeep Renegade is the first Small SUV to feature a nine-speed automatic transmission. The new gearbox is equipped on the 170 horsepower 1.4-liter MultiAir2 Turbo engine, on the 140 and 170 horsepower 2.0-liter Turbo diesel engine and on the 2.4-liter Tigershark MultiAir petrol engine of the Renegade range.

The nine-speed automatic transmission enables the vehicle to optimize engine output and ensures aggressive launches and smooth, efficient power delivery at highway speeds.

Like the new Jeep Cherokee, the Renegade's nine-speed gearbox provides a more responsive driving experience with quicker acceleration and smoother shifting. The wide ratio spread delivers a bold first gear ratio of 4.71 for top performance at low rpm and small gear ratio steps affording luxury car levels of shifting refinement.

Peugeot RCZ R (2015)

With 270bhp (199kW) Peugeot RCZ R is the most powerful production model in Peugeot's long and illustrious history. The RCZ R accelerates from 0 to 62mph in less than six-seconds and demonstrates the expertise of the brand with CO2 contained at only 145g/km, which leads the category of performance Sports Coupés. This is achieved by utilising the downsizing capacity of the engine, saving weight and ensuring aerodynamic optimisation.

Volkswagen Cross Coupe GTE Concept (2015)

Powering the Volkswagen Cross Coupé GTE is a 3.6-litre V6 petrol engine in combination with two electric motors. The six-cylinder direct-injection engine (FSI) delivers 280 PS and maximum torque of 350 Nm, while the two electric motors deliver 40 kW and 220 Nm (front) and 85 kW and 270 Nm (rear). They are powered by a compact lithium-ion battery housed in the centre tunnel, with energy content of 14.1 kWh. The total output of the drive system is 360 PS, and using this full power, the Cross Coupé GTE, which has a top speed of 130 mph (209 km/h), accelerates to 60 mph in just 6.0 seconds. The Cross Coupé GTE can be driven in five different power modes: E-Mode, Hybrid, GTE, Offroad and Battery Hold / Battery Charge.
